SCARS UNSEEN is an inspiring new documentary that brings to light the stories of three incredible women who not only survived domestic violence but are now on a mission to pay it forward.

The film aims to:
De-stigmatize Victimhood: By sharing these raw and real stories, the documentary encourages survivors to come forward and seek help without fear of judgment.
Encourage Open Dialogue: It fosters an environment where conversations around abuse are normalized, helping to break the silence that often surrounds this issue.
Change the Narrative: SCARS UNSEEN challenges the conventional narrative around domestic violence, shifting the focus from victimhood to empowerment and resilience.

REVIEWS
SCARS UNSEEN is an evocative portrayal of human resilience and the urgent need for societal change. It advocates for a knowledgeable and proactive stance against domestic violence, emphasizing the transformative power of storytelling in cultivating empathy and initiating action.
I think this film’s goal is not only to raise awareness but also to inspire. To come out and share our own scars unseen.
My rating is a beautiful 10 out of 10 stars.
There was no pushing, only support and love, coming from the people on the other side of the cameras and other equipment. That’s what you get from womxn who are really listening. It’s evident that the space was created, offered, and gladly given to these survivors. Major props to director Meredith Yinger for setting up that space.
