THE MADAMS | TV PILOT
The Madams is a dark comedy about the relationship between two polar opposite sisters-Logan and Madison- who join forces to run their own underground escort service.
ABOUT THE CHARACTERS
LOGAN
ASPIRING MADAM
Logan, headstrong, sharp-tongued, and no-nonsense. She returns home after working as a prostitute in a Nevada brothel for several months. In search of autonomy and financial independence, she concocts a plan to start her own escort service with the help of her sister Madison. Logan never apologizes, either for her choices of her ambitions. She knows what she wants.
MADISON
GOSSIP MAVEN
Madison, a hermit with an addiction to junk food, is in the process of kicking her anxiety and depression meds, while desperately trying to maintain her sanity while working in the high pressure world of online entertainment gossip. Her routine, solitary life is disrupted when her sister, Logan, moves back home and convinces her to start an escort service. Hard up for cash and against her better judgment, she begrudgingly agrees.
XANDER
SUPER SLEUTH
Xander, an overqualified muckraker with the patience of a saint, works for Madison at her gossip news website. He also keeps her out of trouble by being there for her when no one else is around. Finally reaching his breaking point, he decides to break off on his own, much to the dismay of Madison. He unwittingly discovers a link between Logan and her murdered former Madam. Embroiled in a separate investigation of his own, he uses Logan’s reputation against her to serve his own means-potentially putting Madison in jeopardy.
After leaving her Nevada brothel, Logan recruits her antisocial gossip columnist sister, Madison, to start an escort service back home in Los Angeles. As if lifestyle and personality clashes weren’t enough, their fledgling business is further threatened when trouble follows Logan home after her former madam is found murdered.
